Pumpkin Seed Cake I

INGREDIENTS:
  • 80 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 60 g ground pumpkin seeds
  • 140 g flour
  • 4 egg whites
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp baking powder


    DIRECTIONS:
    Beat the egg whites with 2-3 tsp sugar until stiff.
    Mix together the butter, the rest of the sugar, two egg yolks and the pumpkin seeds until you have a homogeneous mass.
    Mix the baking powder into the flour and add.
    Now fold in the stiff egg whites.
    Transfer the dough into a greased and floured dish and bake for approximately one hour at 180 °C.
