Pumpkin Ice Cream I

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 4 egg yolks or 2 whole eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 cups pureed pumpkin meat
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 cup of single cream
  • 1 cup chopped pumpkin seeds
  • a splash of pumpkin seed oil


    DIRECTIONS:
    Bring the milk to the boil.
    Stir in all ingredients but the cream and pumpkin seeds and simmer for some 4 minutes.
    Leave to cool.
    Fold in the cream and pumpkin seeds and place in the freezer.
    Remove it after a few hours, serve and ... enjoy!
