Baked Pumpkin with Sour Cream

INGREDIENTS:
  • approximately 1/2 kg Pumpkin (best Pattison or Muscat Pumpkin)
  • 1 egg
  • flour
  • breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • salt
  • pepper
  • pumpkin seed oil


    DIRECTIONS:
    Peel the pumpkin (depending on the sort), cut into about one inch thick slices and season with salt and pepper. Roll in flour, egg and bread crumbs and then coat with breadcrumbs and fry golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and serve with sour cream and pumpkin seed oil.

    Sour cream with pumpkinseedoil:
    Stir sour cream with 1 tablespoon pumpkin seed oil and with salt briefly with a spoon, add a little garlic and serve it to the baked pumpkin.

    Serve with salad.
