Only oil from the Styrian Oil Pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo var. styriaca) is allowed to bear the certificate "100% pure pumpkinseed oil.

Imported, cheaper, skinned pumpkin seeds do not make the same taste and the same quality.

Pumpkinseed oil or pumpkinseed salad oil?

Austrian law allows mixing different kinds and qualities of oil if it is clearly declared on the bottle.

Of course, also pumpkinseed salad oil has its right to exist. It tastes more smoothly than pure pumpkinseed oil. Ist viscosity is naturally lower. And for the frequently use (on salads) it is also a question of costs.
